Frank Sinatra's 'Come Dance With Me' consisted of three separate four-track releases with reference material suggesting their sales were combined when calculating its chart position. Therefore this is considered to be one single 'EP' release.

Entries between 76 and 100 are listed in the Hit Music newsletter published at the time and archived on the World Radio History website although these may not yet be recognised by officialcharts.com. Although some entries cannot be verified, 1993 saw the highest total of Top 100 chart entries in a calendar year.

27 entries in the Top 75 this year re-entered the Top 75 later the same year with those latter re-entries excluded from the final total of 1,316 entries in 2002. Also excluded from that total are 22 official UK releases of tracks which initially entered the Top 100 on Import.

The overall number of actual double A-side releases may be over-counted. One track that first charted in 2002 but re-entered the Top 75 in the first week of 2003, two weeks after its initial chart run within the Top 75 ended, is excluded from this year's list of chart entries.
